About Mikaela Gray

Born and raised in Vancouver, I’ve always loved being creative, taking every art class offered in school, and taking part in dance and piano outside of school. My love for photography ignited in high school, when I discovered how a single shot could capture emotion, and make an everyday moment feel unforgettable.

My creative journey took me to Langara, where I earned a diploma in Professional Imaging, and later to Toronto Metropolitan University, where I graduated with a Fine Arts Bachelor’s degree in Photography and a minor in Graphic Design. My passion for photography truly flourished when I started exploring photography series and conceptual work in school. There’s something about telling a story or capturing a mood through a series of images that gets me every time.

I specialize in product and portrait photography, often in the studio where I can play with light and set the scene to bring my vision to life. Whether I’m working solo or with a team, I love getting creative and finding new ways to make each shot unique.
